Chemtex manufactures RO Membrane Antiscalants for inhibition of scale fromation in RO feed water.

A membrane is a thin, film-like structure that separates two fluids. It acts as a selective barrier, allowing some particles or chemicals to pass through, but not others.
Various types of crystal growth activities occur on these membranes.RO feed water membranes are known to accumulate huge quantity of calcium sulfate scale which is very difficult to be removed.

ALKRO range of RO Antiscalants or Antifoulants are very effective for the prevention of these inorganic scales.Chemtex manufactures these RO Antiscalants or Antifoulants which surpasses the performance of other antiscalants (such as Perma-treat 191 etc. of Nalco) under stressed conditions of high pH. ALKRO antiscalants also effectively stabilizes metal ions to prevent fouling of the membrane.

Dosage:

ALKRO antiscalant or antifoulant chemical is normally fed continuously prior to the final cartridge filter. It should be injected by chemical dosing pump from a dilution tank or directly from the drum to the feed water line. The amount of antiscalant or antifoulant required to inhibit scale formation depends on the quality of feed water and size of the membrane system.

ALKRO R.O. MEMBRANE ANTISCALANTS are available in low and high pH that enables to adjust the pH of permeate water without adding acid and alkali.

The major benefits of these chemicals are
  • Scaling is prevented.
  • Reduced downtime required for periodic cleaning of membranes
  • Enhances the quality of permeate water
  • Very easily used & handled.
  • Maintains flow rate close to design and saves power.
  • Increase in productivity.

What is TONO FROST 593 ? TONO FROST 593 is a blend of food-grade propylene glycol and a corrosion inhibitor package designed to provide: Long-lasting protection against rust, scale, and corrosion Stable thermal conductivity Wide temperature operability Food safety compliance for indirect contact In a market flooded with products, NSF certification stands as illumination of reliability and trust. Unlike many pre-inhibited glyco...

Acid Coil Cleaner leaves the aluminum surface clean and shining bright

Improper refrigerant levels, dirty coils, and worn out compressors or condensers can result in inefficient performance of air conditioning system. An inefficient system tends to force the compressor to work harder than is required decreasing its life span and thereby leading to higher energy bills. The primary energy required in operating an air conditioning system comes from the compression of refrigerant. The hotter the compressor receives the processed refrigerant, the more energy is necessary to force it through the condenser. The refrigerant needs to become cold enough to absorb more heat from the process, therefore an external chiller such as an open evaporative condenser or air blast unit is required. It is crucial for effective air-conditioning operation that the condenser is able to easily reject heat through the cooling airflow and the heat exchanger coils. Energy consumption builds up as the refrigerant vapor pressure increases, where the refrigerant is not sufficien...

How RO Antiscalant works?

Reverse Osmosis technology provides an efficient and reliable method for purifying water for various purposes). It can remove impurities such as salts, minerals, and other contaminants as well as microbial contaminants from the Membrane. Water molecules pass through RO membranes despite dissolved solids and other contaminants being rejected by the membrane. RO membranes are basically thin, dense, and semi-permeable membranes. However, the major significant challenge in Reverse Osmosis System is Scaling. Why does it happen? The formation of scales on the RO (Reverse Osmosis) membrane is primarily caused by the presence of certain dissolved minerals and salts in feed water. Scale refers to the accumulation of mineral deposits, such as calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, and silica which can severely impact the efficiency and the lifespan of the RO membrane. RO Membrane scaling may lead to cause ·          Excessive Energy Consumption...
