Effective Sulfuric Acid Pickling with Rodine 85

In industrial sectors, extensive usage of metals or metal parts, render them susceptible to the formation of rust or tends to get damaged due to scaling. To lend protection to these metals against issues like scaling and rusting, acidic treatment is executed on the surfaces of the metals. Metal parts get dipped in acid baths for removing of rust and scale but this acid treatment is the root for another main concern of the industries. Acidic substances always have the tendency to abrade metals even after the removal of scale or rust. Acid inhibitors are administered in acid pickling baths for the prevention of loss of base metal after proper pickling.   It also  helps in extending the life of acid baths. Using of inhibitor in acid solution aids in limiting the acid attack on base metal, therefore from minimum amount of base metal loss savings can be obtained. A potent acid inhibitor helps in alleviating acid attack on the base metal once the scale has been removed, lending protec

High performance Flocculation with Polyelectrolyte

Polyelectrolytes are designed to be used as coagulants and flocculants as well as a sludge dewatering agent in the waste water treatment plants. P olyelectrolyte , thereby, plays an important part in the sludge conditioner formulation. These are referred to as polymers that are generally used for water purification. It is highly noted for its beneficiary nature of handling problems of slow settling of flocs in water at low temperature, treating soft colored water where they increases toughness of the flocs and enhance its settlement ability. Generally flocculation occurs owing to charges present on the particles. Generally, Polyelectrolyte can be differentiated into 3 types based on the charge present on it. These are Non-Ionic Polyelectrolyte, Anionic Polyelectrolyte, and Cationic Polyelectrolyte.  In practical cases, charges are present on the impurity particles and electrostatic interaction occurs between these particles and polyelectrolyte.
