Endless use ideas with this Chemtex artificial snow powder. Great for kids and family to have fun activities like Snow in a Cup, Snow Rainbows, Frozen Island with Characters, Christmas Tree Decoration, and more. A fun and innovative way to introduce your child to science, and incorporate in your STEM curriculum. All the experiments are safe and non-hazardous.

Chemtex Artificial Snow Powder based on premium quality Sodium Polyacrylate Superabsorbent Polymer

Yes, it is the same material used in children’s diapers. It can last for days as long as it is kept out of heat and direct sunlight.

When water is added to this white powder polymer, it instantly expands to 200 times its original volume, producing a snow-like material. When more water is added, a slush forms. When allowed to dry, it returns to its powdered form ready to be used again.

Key Features

·         Perfect for Frozen Themed Parties, Holiday Decors, Christmas Tree Decoration, Village Displays, Holiday and Winter Craft Projects, Science Projects, Fun and Crafts

·         Safe to use, non-toxic flame-retardant polymer, which transforms immediately into fluffy snow upon adding water.

·         High Water Retention: Chemtex instant snow is able to hold water for longer periods of time, which comes handy in decorative media for variety of purposes

·         100% Re-Usable: After making snow you can keep it outside until the water dries in couple of days and use again

How it works?

Chemtex Artificial Snow Powder is made of cross-linking molecules of sodium polyacrylate polymer. These small individual cross-linked clusters appear as a white powdery substance. With water, these individual clusters internally hydrate and expand, forming small, fluffy clusters that do not cling to its surrounding clusters. This appears as a powdery snow. When more water is added, the water molecules also hydrate the external surface of these clusters which begin to adhere to one another, appearing as slush.

Water Retaining Agent

Sodium polyacrylate based superabsorbent polymer manufactured by Chemtex Speciality Limited manifests water absorbing capacity up to 400 times of its own weight. The absorbing ability of Sodium Polyacrylate is because of the presence of anionic charged chains that helps in combining water molecules, forming ‘Water Locks’ or gels. These ‘gel’ retains moisture for a considerable period of time.

The unique properties of this snow make it useful for many other applications, such as an artificial base for skiers, snow themes on movie sets and pandals. Because of its ability to rapidly absorb and retain large volumes of aqueous solutions, and forming gels, it is also used for industrial spill containment. When wet, this polymer has the consistency of snow, adheres well to boots, and is very slippery.

Acid Coil Cleaner leaves the aluminum surface clean and shining bright

Improper refrigerant levels, dirty coils, and worn out compressors or condensers can result in inefficient performance of air conditioning system. An inefficient system tends to force the compressor to work harder than is required decreasing its life span and thereby leading to higher energy bills. The primary energy required in operating an air conditioning system comes from the compression of refrigerant. The hotter the compressor receives the processed refrigerant, the more energy is necessary to force it through the condenser. The refrigerant needs to become cold enough to absorb more heat from the process, therefore an external chiller such as an open evaporative condenser or air blast unit is required. It is crucial for effective air-conditioning operation that the condenser is able to easily reject heat through the cooling airflow and the heat exchanger coils. Energy consumption builds up as the refrigerant vapor pressure increases, where the refrigerant is not sufficien...

How RO Antiscalant works?

Reverse Osmosis technology provides an efficient and reliable method for purifying water for various purposes). It can remove impurities such as salts, minerals, and other contaminants as well as microbial contaminants from the Membrane. Water molecules pass through RO membranes despite dissolved solids and other contaminants being rejected by the membrane. RO membranes are basically thin, dense, and semi-permeable membranes. However, the major significant challenge in Reverse Osmosis System is Scaling. Why does it happen? The formation of scales on the RO (Reverse Osmosis) membrane is primarily caused by the presence of certain dissolved minerals and salts in feed water. Scale refers to the accumulation of mineral deposits, such as calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, and silica which can severely impact the efficiency and the lifespan of the RO membrane. RO Membrane scaling may lead to cause ·          Excessive Energy Consumption...
