Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT) Coolant

Optimal use of machines is directly proportional to its engine performance.

What an engine does is it converts the supplied energy into its mechanical form, driving the machine to work. Engines require one-third of total heat that is generated during conversion and the rest of the heat is needed to be evacuated from the combustion chamber which would otherwise lead to engine failure.
Earlier, water was preferred as an ideal coolant for quite a period of time but the problem started to arise when the temperature would become extremely high or low, to be precise temperature more than 100°C and below 0°C. To get rid of this problem, coolants were formulated. Coolants are categorized chemicals that increases the boiling point of the fluid and decreases the freezing point of the fluid to make it suitable for use in extreme heat and freezing conditions.

Coolants are a proportionate mixture of antifreeze and solvent, mainly glycol and water. Ideally utilized as a preventive in a device from overheating due to its high boiling point and low freezing point property, these chemicals are indulged with anti-corrosive, anti-scaling, and anti-microbial properties, protecting the same from the adverse effects extremely low as well as high temperatures. The coolants are processed with latent heat addition, improvising the cooling efficiency of the same. Coolant Additives are mostly utilized in automobiles, machines, HVAC and various other industrial processing.

Considering the variety of utilization and applications, two new types of coolants are used in most of the HVAC engines are:

  • ·       OAT Coolant: Based on Organic Acid Technology, OAT coolants are free of silicates and manifests provides excellent protection to aluminum at high temperature.
  • ·       HOAT Coolant: Hybrid Organic Acid Technology is based silicates free, nitrates free and borates free formulation, incorporated with OAT technology which are suitable to be used in HVAC as well as less combusting application. The HOAT package is uniquely designed to protect aluminum, brass, copper, solder, steel, cast iron, aluminum alloys and other components such as rubber hoses, gaskets, rubber seals, and elastomers commonly found in the engine radiator.
The HOAT Coolant Additives also help the industrial equipment to produce superior performance by rendering them protection from metal sludge and scale deposits and any contamination in the radiator. Corrosion Inhibitors are nowadays used in the composition of these Coolant Additives during processing so as to ensure perfect protection to equipment from corrosive attack.

Using HOAT coolant in engines and radiators ensures following benefits:

  • ·         Extended operational life for heating and cooling systems
  • ·         Excellent anti-corrosion and anti-scaling properties
  • ·         Higher stability compared to normal coolants; Does not get reduced with time
  • ·         Prevents pitting corrosion
  • ·         Prevents the fluid to get over heated, showing effective control on fluid temperature be it high or low
  • ·         Lower environmental impact
  • ·         Excellent compatibility with Aluminum, Rubber and Elastomers
  • ·         Non-foaming
  • ·         NAP free Coolant

Excellent Efficiency Flocculation with Polyelectrolyte

Polyelectrolytes are regarded as polymer chains with an electrolyte group on every repeat unit. When dissolved in a polar solvent, these polymers are charged due to dissociation of small counter ions that leave behind a charged macro ion. Polyelectrolytes include biologically important molecules such as polypeptides and DNA. These are referred to as polymers that are generally used for water purification. These are highly noted for their beneficiary nature of handling problems of slow settling of flocs in water at low temperature, treating soft colored water where they increase toughness of the flocs and enhance its settlement ability. Polyelectrolytes are formulated in a way so as to be used as coagulants and flocculants as well as a sludge dewatering agent in the waste water treatment plants. P olyelectrolyte , thereby, plays an indispensable part in the sludge conditioner formulation. Generally flocculation occurs owing to charges present on the particles. Generally, Pol...

How RO Antiscalant works?

Reverse Osmosis technology provides an efficient and reliable method for purifying water for various purposes). It can remove impurities such as salts, minerals, and other contaminants as well as microbial contaminants from the Membrane. Water molecules pass through RO membranes despite dissolved solids and other contaminants being rejected by the membrane. RO membranes are basically thin, dense, and semi-permeable membranes. However, the major significant challenge in Reverse Osmosis System is Scaling. Why does it happen? The formation of scales on the RO (Reverse Osmosis) membrane is primarily caused by the presence of certain dissolved minerals and salts in feed water. Scale refers to the accumulation of mineral deposits, such as calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, and silica which can severely impact the efficiency and the lifespan of the RO membrane. RO Membrane scaling may lead to cause ·          Excessive Energy Consumption...
